Sundays at Newington
Coming together on Sundays to worship God and meet with him is at the heart of our church life.

If you are a visitor, you will be warmly welcomed but you will not be asked to stand up or do anything embarrassing. If you just want to sit quietly and watch what's going on, that's fine.
There's no special dress code (as long as it's decent!).

What a service looks like varies week to week, but it will always include prayer, singing, and reading the bible. There will also be a talk based on the bible, either from the minister or a visiting speaker. At the end we serve tea, coffee and biscuits.

On the first Sunday of each month we have a family-friendly all-age service, which is shorter and more interactive. Afterwards we stay for a bring and share lunch.

Twice a month we celebrate communion. All Christians, whatever their church background, are warmly invited to share in that.

Talks and Sermons
Clear, Christ-centered preaching from the Bible is really important to us at Newington.
Recent sermon series include the Story of Jacob, Holiness, and the Letter to the Galatians.
At present, Sunday sermons are not recorded but full scripts are available on request.

Twice a year, our minister Robin gives a series of longer midweek talks on a book or section of the Bible. You can watch the three most recent series:
